Vozheka is a remote village made up of subsistence farmers who grow crops and raise livestock for their own consumption and face significant challenges from unpredictable rainfall, frequent droughts, and poor soil fertility.

The community often experiences food insecurity and poverty due to limited resources, lack of modern technology, and poor infrastructure. They are highly vulnerable to climate shocks, which can lead to malnutrition and prevent children from attending school.
